What is it about horses that just makes some women fall in love. I mean as soon as you mention something about doing something with your horses off handedly, it's like a switch in their brain flips and they want to know EVERYTHING about them. As someone who's family has six, I've never seen the big appeal. I mean, yeah, they're like giant dopey dogs you can ride (and also kill you), but they take a ton of work to take care of!

As soon as I tell women I have 389 horses that produce a lot of toques they lose interest. What am I doing wrong?

Horses are fun and very capable hoonmobiles, especially off road. They're also a ton of work, especially if you don't have enough grassland and have to buy hay.

As for why some women like them; pure romanticism.

"Horse girls." They're a weird bunch. Some grew up riding horses, some just never grew out of their pony phase, but I know at least four (three actually own horses, one grew up caring for two on her parent's land) and they are NUTS about those big smelly SOBs.

Shudder. Not a horse fan. Does that mean I need to turn in my woman card?

Unless you're Chester (the horse I mostly ride) who's curiosity surpasses that of any 5 year old's in existence! If Chester could talk this conversation would take place every 100 feet.

"Hey Alex, check this out!"

"Chester, that's a flower."

"But, it's a PURPLE flower! I'm gonna go check it out."

"No!"

"LALALALALALALALALA, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!"

Walks to flower and eats it

Ah hell I don't seem to use it often anyway since I do all those unwomanly ungdly things anyway. Ya know like fly planes and ride a motorcycle. It's amazing my ovaries functioned well enough to produce 3 kids. ;)

I was horse crazy as a young teenager, but grew out of it in my later teenage years. I guess that's when boys and cars replaced the horses.

Shit, I also don't like horses, ride a motorcycle, but don't even want kids... it's a wonder my ovaries haven't abandoned ship yet!

I don't think you understand, Chester is like a high 5 year old. He would probably make best friends with them.

According to my ex, because they have to spread their legs and the stimulation to the vaginal parts is quite nice. I was jealous.

I grew up riding, but I didn't own the horses. That's the way to do it. But I've never had a girl go starry-eyed over it... except my wife ;) Maybe its a knight in shining armor thing? Cowboy crush?

I ride horses. Well, I used to, I temporarily stopped because studying took away too much time. If you have a good horse that's well behaved and properly trained, they're good fun to ride. True, taking care of them costs a huge amount of money, but to me, they are some of the most intelligent and communicative animals I've ever encountered.
